cookery school of the year 2012
In 2012 we were again awarded with the Restaurant Association of Ireland, Cookery School of the Year for the third year running. We were also presented with Cookery School of the Year award at the Good Food Ireland Awards in Dublin on 22nd November 2011. We are very proud of these achievements for our small cookery school in Dungarvan especially when up against such serious competition. This makes us even more determined to offer you the best Cookery School experience with us in Dungarvan.
The Tannery Cookery School offers an exciting range of courses to suit all tastes and abilities from evening demos to a five day hands on course. The cookery school features a state of the art kitchen with workspaces for twelve people to work hands-on. Paul has developed a range of exciting courses which reflect his cooking. We believe the Tannery Cookery School offers you more than just a cookery course. You will be sharing our cooking ethos, be part of our team for a day and learn from the invaluable expertise that Paul can impart.
Our Glanbia garden has become an important focus of our operation in the Tannery. A derelict wasteland behind the cookery school has been transformed into an organic garden where we grow as much as possible for the restaurant and cookery school. The garden is open every day and anyone is welcome to have a stroll around. We can also organise school tours - this is a particularly nice little outing for pre-school or smaller children attending primary school and if you would lilke to visit, please just contact Máire on 058 45420.
Our cookery school is for everybody so whether you are looking for a course to improve your home cooking skills, a short cookery course with friends or a tailored course to suit a corporate event The Tannery Cookery School is for you.
